From Centreville
Brazilian jiu jitsu for Centreville
Centreville sits at the western edge of our catchment, out where I-66, Route 28, and Route 29 meet and the county starts opening up toward Bull Run. It is the longest regular drive our members make, and the ones who make it do so deliberately.
What you get for the trip is a black belt who teaches every class and a mat that takes beginners and competitors equally seriously. Adam Benayoun is a second-degree black belt who competes at the international level and corners professional MMA, and he runs the room in person.
Fundamentals are always on the schedule, so you build real skill from day one instead of being thrown into the deep end. If you are driving thirty minutes to train, the last thing you want is to spend the session lost.

For the coaching and the room. You train under a second-degree black belt and international competitor, on the same mat the academy's competitors use. That standard is worth the drive.
Braddock Road. It is slower on paper than I-66 and the parkway, but it stays moving when I-66 clogs up heading east in the evening.
Yes. No-gi is jiu jitsu without the kimono, a faster game built on body control and timing. We teach both gi and no-gi, and a lot of members train both.
