Annandale

From Annandale

Annandale is a straight shot north of the academy, so the drive down is short and predictable. It is one of the reasons we see so many Annandale members on the mat through the week.

Black Cat is a boutique academy, not a big-box gym. Owner Adam Benayoun is a second-degree black belt who teaches the classes himself. You learn from someone who competes at the international level and is actually in the room with you.

Gi is the traditional uniform, where you can grab collars and sleeves. No-gi is a rashguard and shorts with no grips, so the pace is faster. We teach both, and many members train both.

No. You get in shape by training. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to. Nobody expects you to keep up on day one.
